Announcements & Information
Wednesday Night eLev8 for All-Church
A Free Dinner will be served in the Family Life Center from 5:00-6:10pm, followed by classes for all ages at 6:15pm. We offer a Nursery, and classes for Children and Youth, as well as Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies. All classes run until 7:30pm, with the exception of the Youth Group and Precept class which dismiss at 8:00pm.
* The Men will be studying 33 The Series, Volume 2, “A Man and His Story.” Every man has a unique story that has shaped them. In this volume, men will discover a Biblical perspective of their story and the defining moments and relationships that have shaped them.
* The Women’s study, “Get Out of Your Head” by author Jennie Allen, is offered not only on Wednesday evening during eLev8, but also on Monday evenings as well. The classes are held in the Social Room of the Family Life Center both nights at 6:15pm.
* The Precept “Covenant” class, led by Martha Greve, meets in the Parlor. God enters into a binding agreement with His people and always keeps His promises. Trusting Him as a covenant partner frees us from the bondage of worry and anxiety. This study will transform the way you read the Scriptures! Cost of the book is $24.75. Any questions, please contact Lynne Klene at the church office.
In addition, any child in KG-6th grade is welcome to participate in FCC Kid’s Choir this year! Kids meet in the Big Blue Room upstairs in the main building to sing and practice for special programs from 5:00-5:30pm every Wednesday Night of eLev8.
Men's Ministry Breakfast - Join in God's Word, Christian Fellowship, and good food! We meet on the 1st and 3rd Saturday mornings each month. The next breakfast is Saturday, October 1st at 8:00am in the Family Life Center Social Room.
Women's Ministry: WOW (Women of the Word)
"Get Out Of Your Head" is a 6-week session, video-based study where Jennie Allen will inspire and equip us to transform our emotions, our outlook, and even our circumstances by taking control of our thoughts. When we submit our minds to Christ, the promises and goodness of God flood our lives in remarkable ways. This Women's Bible Study meets on Mondays for 6 weeks, beginning September 12th, or Wednesdays, beginning September 14th (during eLev8 class time for 6 weeks). Both classes meet in the Social Room of the Family Life Center from 6:15pm - 7:30pm.

The Gleaners Food Truck will be at First Christian Church on Monday, September 26th, 10am - 12pm. This is for any Decatur County resident, age 55 and up. It is drive-thru only in the FCC parking lot and includes a free breakfast.
